Our grooming services include trimming the nails, cleaning the ears, bathing them with shampoo and conditioner most suitable for your dog’s coat, and drying—and then brushing and combing without fighting excessive tangles. Then, the haircut is customized to what will keep your dog attractive and maintainable until the next appointment.
HairCuts:
Haircuts include a bath and nail trim for all clients. While we groom all sizes of dogs, we have limited space available for large and extra-large dogs. We are now also offering Cat Grooming one half-Monday a month. If you have a specific look in mind, bring a picture and we will do our best to steer the groom in that direction.
Dog Baths:
Our Bathing Department does a great job of getting dogs squeaky clean and deshedded. Our Grooming Department is very heavily booked and is unable to accommodate emergency massive brushouts and dematting.
Dog baths include the nails being trimmed and ears being cleaned, as well as shampoo and conditioner appropriate to your dog's coat, and some deshedding.
CUSTOM COLOR:
After extensive research and careful thought, we are now offering creative and coloring services for canine clients. Coloring starts at $20 for single-colored ears, tail or feet; additional colors may be added at $6 per color. While color may not be right for every pet, it can usually be included in the grooming appointment time slot without taking too much longer. We use pet-safe products recommended and tested by industry professionals like Angela Kumpe, Alyssa Kasiba, and Lori Craig.
BRUSHING TEETH:
We can brush your dog’s teeth for an additional charge. Bear in mind that this is not the same as a dental cleaning done at the vet. We use the Zymox toothpaste, Oratene, with a soft toothbrush. If your dog’s gums bleed a lot, we may not recommend this service for your pet.
CATS:
We are now offering a new cat grooming service one Monday a month. Appointments are limited! We can accommodate well-mannered cats for nail trims, baths, and grooms. Call for more information.
